In addition to my lectures on the history of British literature and culture, I have been teaching literary theory and criticism for twenty years at Eszterházy Károly Catholic University. My fields of research cover the reading of eighteenth-century, Romantic and Victorian authors and in all of my courses, I emphasise the critical approach to the discussed texts. Two of my lecture series deal with literary criticism: the first, Introduction to Literary Studies provides the basics of the interpretation of literary works delivered to juniors, while, the second, English Literary Criticism and Literary Theory, offers complex, historical and theoretical approach to the senior students of English studies in their understanding of cultural phenomena in the different periods.
